Post Drinks Poutine
Fresh fries, gravy, cheese curds… the perfect post drinks meal. There are many great ways to make poutine, from nostalgic family recipes to tasty blog recipes floating out there on the internet. After many, many nights we have found our own special fry and gravy recipes that will remain an in house secret. We use a deep fryer with the double fry method and offer a classic gravy and vegetarian gravy option.
Notes:
It is important that the gravy is made right before serving. Letting the gravy sit on the stove (even off the heat) will allow the gravy to thicken beyond what we want.
Make sure you leave out your cheese curds in preparation for serving. Room temperature curds will melt soon after adding them to the hot fries and gravy.
